CFC Industry Showcase at TIFF Bell Lightbox

Still absolutely glowing after an incredible evening on July 10th, 2023 celebrating the work of my fellow 2022/2023 CBC Actors’ Conservatory and Bell Media Prime Time TV Program residents at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Each of our short films (and tv teasers!) were showcased for an intimate house of industry contacts, close friends, and family. The energy in the room was incredible!

I am happy to have gotten to share my first screenplay, Melanie in which I played the titular lead. It is a whole other experience to see how an audience receives not only your performance, but a story you wrote. I am thrilled with the response to it - and hope those tuning in at home enjoy it too. I certainly had a blast leaning into Melanie’s story of comparison and discontent. Major thanks to superstar director, Roney, DOP extraordinaire Nick Haight, and so many others who worked on the film.

As well, I was thrilled to have gotten to co-star in Riley Davis’ brilliantly touching piece, Gerry. Working with Michael Hanley and Artem Mykhailetskyi was a dream.

Endlessly grateful. My time at the CFC was so fruitful, expansive, and nurturing. These films are just a glimpse into all the incredible work I got to do during my time there.
